FileChute is an application that makes sending files extremely easy. To send a file, simply drop it in FileChute and paste the automatically generated link into the e-mail you're composing. Send the e-mail. That's it. You can even send an entire folder in one step by dropping the folder in FileChute. FileChute automatically archives the folder, creating your choice of a .tar, .zip, or .dmg file and sends that. The recipient clicks on the link to download the file. Since no special software is required on the receiving end, it doesn't matter whether your recipient uses a Mac or a Windows PC.
New in version 1.7.2: FileChute wasn't able to continue when directory creation using FTP fails. This version allows user to ignore the failure (user will still need to create the directory manually). New delete expired files icon. New Links menu with keyboard shortcuts.
